Catchup + Caseapp Giveaway

Considering how I've been feeling the last few days, it seemed like as good as time as any to write this post.

It's now been four weeks since I moved into university for the second time. A lot more smoothly but nonetheless stressful and tiring. Honestly up until this last week I had been doing pretty well. I've kept on top of all the work, even been ahead in some cases. I've socialised, which is a huge thing for me to do. And I've even been getting back on top of all things blog-wise. Yet this week everything just started running slower. After a long night out at BTS (that's a story for another post) and most likely freshers flu catching up with me, I've had some sort of stumble.

I wouldn't say I've completely crashed. Work is still being done. I'm still going out to see my friends. But everything just seems more of a struggle. These last few days, in particular, have been days where I could just use with a hug, but everyone I have to hug doesn't live close.

Honestly, I'm slightly worried about writing more personal things on here since I know my mother and friends sometimes read my blog posts, and I'm not exactly the best at dealing with people when I know they've read even just a review I uploaded. But this is a catch up post so I wanted to be honest with you all. And to show how even someone who looks like they've got control of everything really doesn't feel like they do.

Anyway, enough of all this gloomy stuff. What else have I been up to in the last month. Probably not much fun stuff.

My life has pretty much been university, university and more university.

Second year has definitely been a lot heavier than first year! I go to lectures, then go back and study and if I'm lucky to have time to blog. But I really am not complaining. I'm loving my course, minus maybe one module which everyone seems to dislike anyway, and even if it is just one module we're now slightly more specialised in astrophysics rather than general physics. Solar System Physics is by far my favourite module!

Second year also means I've started looking for placements for my year out. To be frank, I think I'm most terrified about this at the moment. All I've known so far in my life is school, college and university. So I really don't know what I want to do with all the stuff I've learnt over the years. But I'm trying to get on top of it, even if it means I'm going to have to talk to many people first.

It feels strange really, that a year ago I would have never in my wildest dreams taken the initiative to talk to someone first. I would have just let the opportunity pass me by, or find some way of getting out of doing it. But now I'm going out! Taking things into my own hands. Really small things for some people but massive for me!

I think blogging might have actually helped with this. Working with brands for collaborations, like the one in today's post with Caseapp, has really meant I've had to stop hiding all the time.

I'm sure many of you have heard of Caseapp before. They sell personalised phone case and laptop skins. From personalised iPhones cases to Samsung they have the lot. So when the lovely people at Caseapp offered to send me their product as well as run a giveaway for you I didn't really want to say no.

And I am actually in love with this case! The colours are gorgeous and it's a perfect size in terms of that it's not too chunky at all. I've also had so many compliments from my friends and family on it, and been asked where I got it from; so I guess you can gauge how nice it is.

As for the giveaway, (this is the first one I've ever held so a big milestone I feel in my blogging journey) if you win you'll get the chance to receive one item off of the Caseapp website. All you have to do is follow the rules below and you'll be in for a chance. It also would be helpful for you to comment your twitter handle if you enter in the comment, so I am able to contact you if you win. The ending date will be a month from when this post goes up, so the 17th November 2018. Good Luck!

Even if you don't win and want to treat yourself to a phone case I have a 20% discount code for you all, SOSOPHIE20

This has been quite a ramble of a post. But I feel a little better getting out all of those feelings and writing them down. Plus I want to let you all in a little more since I really feel like I want to become a little more human on here.

How are you all been doing recently? My DMs on both Twitter and Instagram are always open if you want someone to talk to.
